This week we said a hearty good-luck to former player, coach and friend Riley Green as he continues his football journey with a 4 year scholarship in Louisiana USA
Riley joined the club as a year 9 player back in 2012 and enrolled in the clubs ever popular "Royal Future" program where he undertook his Duke of Edinburgh award, qualified as an FA coach and got involved in helping out our younger boys and girls at soccer school
Riley says his coaching strengths are his patience and love of the game and how he hopes that his time in LSU Louisiana will develop those skill further
Riley also explained how the club and John had been pivotal in him getting this opportunity. "John has been brilliant, he has always shown faith in me, the club is so professionally run and I have learnt so much from the ex-pro footballers that coach at the club"
We wish Riley all the best for the next 4 years and beyond and hope to see him around the Grange again in the future

Strictly adhering to guidance from the UK Government and The FA relating to grassroots community football, Colebrook Royals FC are thrilled to re-open our Saturday morning soccer School.
Please follow the social distancing and Covid-19 rules that have been put in place to ensure the safety of everyone.
We look forward to seeing everyone - welcome back!
Following The FA Guidelines, from 24th September it is essential that all community clubs have an official NHS QR code for all coaches, players and families to 'check in' with. This quick and easy scanning process will help to avoid the reintroduction of lockdown measures and support the country to return to, and maintain, a more normal way of life.
Posters displaying the official NHS QR code will be clearly displayed around The Grange.
If there is an outbreak associated with our venue, a message will be sent to the relevant app users with the necessary public health advice.
In addition to this, everyone visiting The Grange must also continue to follow other government guidance and continue to social distance to minimise the transmission of COVID-19.
